​Each week we will be requesting items desperately needed by our neighbors East.  Natalie will be making regular trips to Panama City, Mexico Beach and all of the other areas affected by Michael.  Your donated items will go from Natalie directly to those that need it most!  In one LONG week Natalie has gone from being a volunteer with The Cajun Navy to a permanent member of their team.  She will be posting regular facebook lives from ground zero on the The Cajun Navy facebook page and is now their official press photographer (British Touch Photography).  This is a long term commitment she has generously made to HELP our friends and neighbors!

The Fruit Lady Fundraising:

A message from Natalie: 

​"I NEED YOUR HELP!!
I really want to keep delivering fresh fruit out to Panama City and other small towns in that area.
I can't do this without your help!
Is anyone able to donate some fresh fruit or $5 for my next trip over there on November 16th?
All fruit shall be purchased in bulk the day before my trip.
I REFUSE to allow people to forget about Panama City!!!
Just because you don't see it on the news anymore doesn't mean people over there are not still struggling!
I can't do this alone though!!! I need the communities help to keep this going."

Natalie has been my friend and photographer for a few years now and I noticed her Hurricane Relief efforts as she was updating facebook daily.  While I sat home paralyzed with emotion this Mom 'n' a Minivan was making her way into the devastation left from Michael and really HELPING!  I could not let this go unnoticed and wanted to empower her mission.   

She was starting to be known as "The Fruit Lady" bringing apples, oranges, and bananas to those living solely on MRE's!  I told her to meet me one afternoon to pick up some fruit! 

Little did she know, I had coordinated with the group leader, Tracy Bragg, of the Women Empowering Women group and made a post asking the ladies to all bring a bag of fruit to the luncheon. 

Keep in mind Natalie had no idea...  
When Natalie returned home after the luncheon, she received a call from one the top guys at the Cajun Navy and accepted their offer to be their professional photographer, social media live guru (and that was her 1st fb live) and she is now a permanent member of their team! 

This delights me to no end because I see the passion in her eyes and it makes me so proud of her!  Like me, Natalie suffers from autoimmune disease and for people like us this is a huge commitment!  I am so happy for her and hope that you will help me in empowering her even more!
